1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using CareNexxus (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Account registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Plans: paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled.
• Free trials: if offered, convert into a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Cancellation: you may cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: charges are non-refundable except where required by law or as specified in a regional refund policy.
• Taxes: prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials or resell access to the Service.
• Download, copy, redistribute, or publicly perform our content outside the Service.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source data, except where allowed by law.
• Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others, or to upload unlawful or infringing material.
• Interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service or its security features.

6. Intellectual property

CareNexxus and its content (videos, courses, written materials, logos, design) are owned by CareNexxus or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the content for personal, non-commercial use during your subscription.

7. User content

You retain ownership of any feedback, comments, or other content you submit. By submitting it, you grant CareNexxus a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display it for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.

8. Educational content disclaimer

CareNexxus content is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions about a medical condition. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or watched on the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareNexxus and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in Edmonton, Alberta, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when changes were made. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
